Hong Kong-based photography studio HDP-Photography Services has teamed up with another locally based creative agency, Stutter Hen, for art direction campaigns.

The partnership aims to bring an element of French style into the multi-cultural Hong Kong environment, combining HDP’s commercial photography expertise with Stutter Hen’s bespoke creative art direction services. Bringing these two brands together is a way of staying ahead of the curve in visual communication.

In today’s Digital Age, where imagery has become the priority number #1 in campaigns and content communication efforts, it’s important to ensure that your visual identity is striking and remains in your clients’ minds.

Millions of photographs are uploaded every minute via different kinds of social media platforms (each day 80 million photos are uploaded on Instagram; 300 million on Facebook)

Sharing contents and random imagery is no longer efficient to talk to your audience or attract potential customers. Quality, originality, being more sensitive to visuals, colours and shapes, it’s a fact that the trend in consumption is to buy more based on aesthetic.

In undertaking this partnership, HDP-Photography has underlined the need to go beyond classic photography and to reveal products under a new light. Ultimately, telling stories is becoming a priority.

About Lok Ming Fung:

Lok Ming Fung is a Ceramic designer maker who graduated from Central St. Martins in 2007. During her years studying for her Ceramic degree, she has always been fascinated and intrigued by texture and glaze. How it can accentuate the ceramic surface: highlighting details and surface relief achieved with techniques such as intaglio, sprigging and piercing. Loks uses a variety of processes such as slip casting, hand building and press molding to make her pieces.

Dividing her time in London and Hong Kong, Loks has showcased and sold at Maison et Objet Paris, Pulse and Origin with stockists in England, USA, Germany, Holland and Hong Kong. She has also worked with many high end restaurants both in London and Hong Kong, including Michelin star Restaurant Story.
